Trafficmaster Announces International Rescue for Blackberry TMCnet
Trafficmaster , a provider of intelligent vehicle service, announced that their international mobile phone travel emergency and concierge service software International Rescue is now available on Global Positioning System or “GPS”-enabled Blackberry.
International Rescue is part of the Trafficmaster Companion suite of travel services, which includes U.K. based satellite navigation, live traffic information and 24 hour personal assistants, according to company officials.
The new software provides round-the-clock personal travel assistants located in the U.K. and in over 40 countries, which are on hand to help travelers when they encounter a problem.
The service primarily targets British travelers. According to Trafficmaster reports, nearly 36 million Brits are expected to travel abroad this year, with estimates that one in ten will need medical support or will be involved in an accident.
