council member meeting: Franklin City Council members from Ward 3, 4 and 5 will answer questions and listen to concerns at the Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center from 5 to 8 p.m. From 6:30 to 7:30 p.m, Chief Phil Hardison, Franklin Police Department, will make a presentation.

spring fling: Tenecia Shearin along with Total Business and Personal Concierge Service will host Spring Fling from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Ruth Campbell Memorial Library in Franklin. The theme for the event is “Bouncing Back Into Good Health.” The event will include education/dental screening by Gwendolyn A. Holley, DDS of Ivor Dental Center, Debbie Ramirez, RN of Franklin City Health Department and a presentation by Bryon Holley with Life Guard 30, Emergency Medical Records Systems. The event is free.
